I began my apprenticeship at Mill Creek at the end of August.  I just graduated from Millersville University in May, so this is my first step into "real world".
I first started making pots when I took a ceramics course my sophomore year of college.  After about a month of skipping all my other classes to go throw more pots I changed my major. I have always taken a lot of enjoyment from the process of making my work, and had an interest in woodfiring. While in school I did not have the oppurtunity to fire in a wood kiln regularly. I am excited to spend the next year wood firing and learning all that I can about the process.
